Kent Glassman—Senior Consultant |
Kent Glassman is a senior consultant with Stratton & Associates, specializing in government affairs services to corporations, candidates, not for profit agencies and government entities, with a central focus on procurement. He also assists the public sector in identifying and implementing private sector technologies and solutions throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. Over the years, Kent Glassman has provided services to Fortune 500 companies, government departments, innovative business, and not-for-profit groups including: Cisco Systems Inc., EMC2, Merck Pharmaceuticals, SAP, JP Morgan Chase, Denver Area Rapid Transit District (RTD), Martin Luther Homes (for children with developmental disabilities), and the Greeley Independence Stampede. Recognizing that government agencies are one of the largest purchasers of goods and services in the state, Glassman has identified opportunities for the private sector to develop business and for the public sector to save money and streamline services. Glassman is also proud to have served inside Cisco Systems, helping bring broadband to school districts, municipalities, counties, and all state agencies. Glassman previously
served as the Legislative Liaison for former Colorado Governor Roy Romer,
coordinating Department activities and communicating Executive Branch
positions to the Legislature. During his years in the Governor’s
Office, Glassman was a central player in the appointment of decision
makers, development of the state budget and the implementation of policies
and legislation. More recently, Glassman was appointed by Governor Bill
Owens to serve on his transition team, recommending Department Directors
and strategic plans. Glassman was a Co-Chair for Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper’s
Inauguration in July of 2003, raising money, recruiting volunteers and
managing the event. He also participated on the CIO search committee
for the City and County of Denver.
